RICHARDSON, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 9-0 to the University of Texas at Dallas Friday afternoon.

Howard Payne number one doubles team of Edgar Torres and Gabe Benitez fell 8-4 to Hrudhay Ravula and Alberto Hernandez of of UT Dallas. The HPU number two double team of Andrew Lambert and Ryan Barrett would fall by the same 8-4 score.

The Yellow Jackets would drop all the singles points in straight sets on the way to the 9-0 final.

Howard Payne is now 0-14 overall and 0-5 in conference action. UT Dallas stands at 10-3 overall and 5-0 in league play. The Jackets will finish out the regular season on April 22nd versus Sul Ross State University at 10:00 am.
