ABILENE, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team spent the weekend at the 2017 American Southwest Conference Fall Individual/Double Championships.
On the singles side, Howard Payne competed in the "B" Flight with
Gabe Benitez, 'C" Flight with
Brandon McGibeny, "E" Flight with
Tommy Croft, "F" Flight with Ben Blanchard and "G" Flight with
Noah Marlin.
Benitez and Blanchard played doubles in Flight "B", and Croft and McGibeny played doubles in Flight "C".Â
The young talented group of Yellow Jackets were unable to pick up any wins in singles and double play.
The Jackets will compete next on Sept. 28-Oct. 1 at the ITA Regionals in San Antonio, Texas hosted by Trinity University.
