Box Score Hobbs, New Mexico- The Howard Payne Lady Jacket Volleyball traveled out of state in search of a win, but came up short to the University of the Southwest on Oct. 9th.
The match was handled by the Lady Stangs who took the win in three sets, 3-0 (25-17, 25-17, 25-14).
Mya Ross led the match in kills with 8 and in digs with 11, McKenna Walker aided those kills and many more with 21 assists.
Howard Payne has dropped to 2-17 on the season and stay at 1-10 in conference play.
The Lady Jackets will be on the road this weekend playing in the ASC Cross-Over Tournament, hosted by UT-Tyler, starting October 12th. They will kick off Friday morning against the No. 17 team in the nation, UT Tyler, at 11:00 am. You can find links to live stats and video at HPUSports.com
