BROWNWOOD, Texas- Howard Payne University Woman's Soccer team broke their two-game win streak today to the University of Texas at Dallas 0-5 at Citizens National Bank Field.

Trinity Hernandez received a career high against the Comets with two shots and two shots on goal. HPU ended the game with nine shots and four shots on goal.
The Lady Jackets were able to hold UT Dallas, 1
st in the America Southwest Conference, till the 20
th minute mark of the match. When Lady Comet Jessica Rusk was able to get a header into the goal off of a corner kick. This sparked the lead for the Lady Comets with both first two goals of the half being results from corner kicks. Thus ending the half 0-3.
UT Dallas came into the second half fired up scoring the remaining two goals of the game in the first 15 minutes.
The Lady Jackets continued to fight shooting five out of the nine game shots in the second half, ending the game 0-5.
Howard Payne is now 2-5-1 overall and 2-1-1 in conference play, while UT Dallas is 10-0-0 overall. The Lady Jackets will play at home next Thursday at 1:00 P.M. against Concordia University.
