SEGUIN, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team traveled to Texas Lutheran University this weekend for a non-conference match falling 9-0 to the Bulldogs.

Albert Hernandez and Dominic Denardo would drop the number one double point 8-1 and Rodolfo Perez and Tevin Stevens fell in number two doubles 8-0.

Playing a man down, the Jackets would drop the number three and number six singles by default.

The Jackets then dropped the single points in straight sets with Dominic Denardo playing the toughest in number one singles falling 6-1, 6-3.

HPU will play next on March 29th at home in its conference opener versus the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor at 11:00 am.
