BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University men's tennis team fell 5-0 to Schreiner University Tuesday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

With the Yellow Jackets playing a man down, Howard Payne dropped the number one and two doubles points both 8-0 and the number three point by default.

Both programs decided to play till decision. So with HPU losing the number four singles match 6-0, 6-1 and the number five singles match 6-1, 6-1, the match ended in a 5-0 Schreiner decision.

The Yellow Jackets will play at home next on March 9th versus Southwestern Christian University at 10:00 am and the University of the Southwest at 3:00 pm.
