Daniel Hernandez recorded a goal and an assist in a Yellow Jacket 2-0 victory over the Sul Ross State University Lobo in the HPU's season finale.

Daniel Hernandez scored the first goal of the game in the 6th minute on an assist from
Andrew Hackney making it 1-0 against the Lobo's.
In the 35th minute of the match,
Cristian Drake scored off of a header and a Hernandez assist raising it to a 2-0 game. The Yellow Jackets were able to hold off the Lobo's for the rest of the match for the shutout victory.
The Yellow Jackets outshot the Lobos 18-13 overall and 9-5 in shots on goal.
Yosmar Reyes was active off the bench for the Jackets recording seven shots, two on goal in 50 minutes of action.
Daniel Hernandez added four shots, two on goal and
Alexander Paz finished with two shots, one on goal.
Eduardo Flores played keeper all 90 minutes for the Yellow Jackets and recorded five saves.
Howard Payne finishes the season at 4-12-1 overall and 2-8-0 in American Southwest Conference action.
