BROWNWOOD, Texas- The Howard Payne University men's soccer team fell 4-0 to Concordia University Texas on Thursday afternoon at Citizen's National Bank Soccer Field.

The Yellow Jackets got off to a rocky start, allowing the Tornados to score 25 seconds into the match.

Howard Payne trail 2-0 at the halfway mark.

Concordia scored two goals in the second half to give themselves the 4-0 victory. 

 Zach Moreno, Mikel Santamaria, David Wright, and Tutu Hernandez recorded shots on goal for HPU. Eduardo Flores had seven saves.

Eduardo Flores played all 90 minutes in goal for HPU, allowed four goals, and recorded seven saves.

The Yellow Jackets fall to 2-8-1 on the season and 0-4 in conference play. The Tornados improve to 5-3-3 overall and 3-02 in American Southwest Conference action.

Howard Payne will play Mary Hardin-Baylor at Citizen's National Bank Soccer Field in Brownwood, Texas, at 3:30 PM on Saturday, Oct. 8th.
