ABILENE, Texas- The Howard Payne University women's soccer team fell to Hardin Simmons University 5-0 Thursday night.
The Lady Jackets were unable to stop the Cowgirls. After leading 2-0 at the half, Hardin Simmons scored three second-period goals to claim the match 5-0.
Kaegan Sims and 
Mariah Gonzales recorded shots for the Lady Jackets. Goal Keeper, 
Delaney Castor had 13 saves for Howard Payne.
Howard Payne is now 0-3 overall and 0-2 in the American Southwest Conference. Hardin Simmons moves to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Lady Jackets will be back at home on Monday, March 8th to take on Mary Hardin-Baylor at 1 pm.
