BROWNWOOD, Texas– The Howard Payne University men's tennis team won 8-1 against Sul Ross State University on Saturday.
Hunter Green and
Micah Hunter won 8-2 in number one doubles.
Dominic DeNardo and
Dakota Anderson won 8-0 in number two doubles.
Landon Ferree and
Gavin Fountain won 8-0 in number three doubles.
Micah Hunter won number one singles 6-1, 6-1.
Ashton Stevens fought hard in number three singles, winning 7-6, 6-1.
The Yellow Jackets are now 1-12 on the season. The Jackets will play again on Saturday, April 24th at 2:00 p.m. versus McMurry University in Abilene, Texas.
