Lady Jackets Versus War Hawks

BROWNWOOD, Texas- In the last home game of the season, the Howard Payne University Lady Jackets dropped their match to the McMurry University War Hawks 2-0.

The War Hawks were able to score one goal in the first half, and one goal in the second half. Emily Williamson was in goal all 90 minutes for the Lady Jackets, and recorded four saves.
 
Howard Payne took a total of nine shots, with five of them on goal. Alexandria Barnett and Karlee Friebele each took two shots, the rest of HPU's shots were taken by Marisah Mata, Addison Buesing, Brooke Scott, Kate Recendez and Katie Burnside.
 
The Lady Jackets are now 5-7-2 on the season an 1-4-1 in conference play. The Lady Jackets will compete against Sul Ross State University next Saturday, Oct. 22nd. Kickoff is at 1:00 pm in Alpine, Texas!
