Box Score MARSHALL, Texas- The Howard Payne University Lady Jackets dropped their match 3-1 to the East Texas Baptist University Tigers.

ETBU got their first goal in the 23^rd minute of the game. HPU's Brenna Douthit responded with a goal just a few minutes later during the 27^th minute. ETBU was able to score another goal in the first half, leaving the score 2-1 at halftime. During the second half, the Tigers got off one more goal to end the game 3-1.
 
HPU took 20 total shots with ten of them on goal. Hannah Noel led the Lady Jackets in shot attempts with five total shots, two on goal, followed by Brenna Douthit with four total shots, three of them on goal.
 
In goal for HPU for the first half of the game, Emily Williamson recorded four saves. During the second half, Stephanie Sanders was in goal for the Lady Jackets, recording three saves.
 
The Lady Jackets are now 5-9-2 on the season an 1-6-1 in conference play. The Lady Jackets will take on LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas for their last conference game of the season! They will compete on Saturday, Oct. 29^th at 5:00 pm!
