BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Howard Payne University women's tennis team fell 5-4 at home to Austin College Saturday afternoon at the Nabers Tennis Center.

Playing down two players, the Lady Jackets were able to take the number one double point 8-4 and the number two doubles 8-6.

HPU's Victoria Ramos won 6-1, 6-3 in number two singles and Nina Delafuente won 6-4, 6-4 in number four singles action.

HPU would only drop the number one and two singles, and the number five and single singles by default being down two players.
