MARSHALL, Texas – This Saturday, the Howard Payne University women's tennis team fell 8-1 versus the East Texas Baptist University Tigers in Marshall, Texas.

HPU dropped the number one double 8-4 and the number two double 8-3. The third match was dropped by default.
 
Lady Jacket, Victoria Ramos, won the number two singles match. She won the first set 6-1, dropped the second set in a close 7-6, and won the final set 10-6.
