CLARKSVILLE, Arkansas – The Howard Payne University women's tennis team won today's match versus University of the Ozarks 5-4.
The Lady Jackets took two of the doubles points to start the day. HPU's
Lexie Nave and
Victoria Ramos won 8-3 in number one doubles.
Zoe Sprayberry and
Nina Delafuente won in number two doubles 8-4. The third double was dropped by default.
Lexie Nave won the number one singles for the Lady Jackets winning the first 6-2, tying the second 6-6, and winning the third set 4-1. University of the Ozarks had to withdraw in the fourth set, giving Nave the win. Winning number two singles,
Victoria Ramos won 6-2 in both sets. HPU's
Nina Delafuente won in number four singles, 7-6 in the first set and 6-4 in the third set.

th, at 2:00 pm versus Hardin-Simmons University.
