HPU Opens Spring Action Versus Texas A&M Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Howard Payne University women's tennis team opened up spring 2024 action on the road in a double header versus Division-I opponent Texas A&M Corpus Christi. The Lady Jackets dropped match one 6-0 and match two 5-0.
 
Match One
HPU opened up the day with doubles dropping all three matches to the Islanders.
 
The Lady Jackets dropped all five matches in the singles division losing the match 6-0.
 
Match Two
Howard Payne lost straight sets in match two losing 5-0.
 
The Lady Jackets will be back in action on Friday as they take on Texas Wesleyan in Arlington, Texas. HPU will host their first home match of the spring with Concordia (TX) coming into town on Saturday.
