BROWNWOOD, -- Howard Payne fell 2-1 at home to Mary Hardin-Baylor Saturday (Oct. 5) at Citizens National Bank Field.
The loss dropped Howard Payne's record to 0-8-3 overall and 0-3-0 in ASC action.
How it Happened
Mary Hardin-Baylor broke the scoreless tie when Peyton Hoyt scored in the minute.
The Yellow Jackets evened the match on a goal from Dylan Massingill -- his second goal of the season -- in the 49th minute, assisted by Xzavier Saldana.
Mary Hardin-Baylor went on top 2-1 on Chase Cherrington's 57th-minute goal. Neither team scored again in the game.
