ARLINGTON, Texas --M. Cabrera and A. Cabrera combined to toss a shutout on Tuesday as the Arlington Baptist Patriots blanked the Howard Payne Lady Jackets 4-0.

Sydney West (0-1) came out of the bullpen for Howard Payne (11-19) and took the loss. Bree Cason was a bright spot for the Lady Jackets, coming out of the bullpen as well and throwing one scoreless inning, allowing no hits.

At the plate, the Lady Jackets were paced by Elise Munoz, who went 2-for-4 on the day.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Howard Payne managed zero chances with runners on third in the shutout, going a total of 1-for-7 with runners in scoring position. The Lady Jackets last got a runner on third in the seventh, when Alli Harvey made it 60 feet away from scoring with two outs.
