LONGVIEW, Texas -- Howard Payne got a pair of goals from Kiana Chastain in a 3-1 win against LeTourneau Saturday (Sept. 28) on the road at LETU Soccer Field.

The win boosted Howard Payne's record to 4-4-1 overall and 1-1-0 in ASC play.

How it Happened

Howard Payne broke the 0-0 tie when Chastain recorded her third goal of the season in the 18th minute, assisted by Brenna Douthit.

The Yellow Jackets grabbed a 2-0 advantage on a goal from Chastain -- her third goal of the season -- in the 51st minute.

LeTourneau got on the scoreboard to make it a 2-1 game on Chanel Kemball-Cook's 52nd-minute goal, assisted by Shelby Smith.

The Yellow Jackets went ahead 3-1 with a 72nd-minute goal from Sarah Krusing, her second goal of the season. Abbie Wetzel assisted the goal. The goal closed the scoring in the game.
