GAME 1 | Howard Payne 6, Texas-Dallas 5
BROWNWOD, Texas --The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets rallied to score two in the seventh inning and walked it off on Bryce Allen-Bourland's two-run home run off of A. Koch to pick up the 6-5 victory over the Texas-Dallas Comets Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Trailing 1-0, the Yellow Jackets first put runs on the board in the first inning. Annie Klein-Allgood's run-scoring single highlighted a two-run inning for Howard Payne.
The Comets failed to push any runs across before the Yellow Jackets offense got back to their scoring ways the next inning. Howard Payne picked up a pair of runs in the frame. which brought the Yellow Jackets lead to 4-1.
UT Dallas then rallied to take a 5-4 lead before Howard Payne scored two runs in the bottom half of the seventh to grab the win, walking it off

BROWNWOOD, Texas --The Howard Payne Yellow Jackets had a tough showing on Saturday, falling to the Texas-Dallas Comets by final score of 5-1.
A. Allgood (0-1) got the ball to start for Howard Payne (7-33) and took the loss. A. Aviles was a bright spot for the Yellow Jackets, coming out of the bullpen and throwing 5.2 innings, giving up one run on eight hits, with no walks and two strikeouts.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Yellow Jackets were trailing 4-0 in the fourth inning when they first put runs on the board. Allgood came across to score the lone run of the inning for Howard Payne and get them on the board. The Yellow Jackets were unable to get any closer, as Texas-Dallas added one run to their tally on the way to a 5-1 final.
