DALLAS, Texas – The American Southwest Conference today announced the 2024-25 ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Teams and Howard Payne University's Caitlyn Panuco was named to the team list for women's basketball.
 
An honorable Mention All-Conference selection, Caitlyn Panuco totaled 672 minutes across 25 games this season, starting in 24. Panuco was a force to be reckoned with down low, grabbing a team game high 14 rebounds twice against UT Dallas and Letourneau this year. Overall, she was the team leader in total rebounds with 133. Panuco finished the year with 173 points scored and 38 total assists. 
 
Student-athletes were nominated by their institution as part of the Distinguished Scholar-Athlete team for each sport.
