Howard Payne jumped out quickly and steadily widened the gap through the middle quarters, using defensive pressure and balanced scoring to keep Centenary off rhythm. The Lady Jackets limited Centenary to just 40 points on the night, holding the Ladies to under 30 percent shooting while consistently pushing the tempo on offense.

Azaylee Santos led Howard Payne with 15 points, providing a steady scoring presence throughout the game. Caitlyn Parson posted a strong double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds, anchoring the frontcourt on both ends of the floor.
