Howard Payne turned in one of its most explosive offensive performances of the season, scoring 108 points on the road despite falling 120–108 to Schreiner University. The Yellow Jackets stayed aggressive throughout the contest, consistently pushing the pace and finding scoring opportunities against a high-powered Schreiner attack.

Armonie Ramey delivered a standout all-around performance to lead Howard Payne, pouring in 39 points on 14-of-31 shooting while going a perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line. Ramey also added eight rebounds and five steals, setting the tone offensively and keeping the Jackets within striking distance throughout the night.

Howard Payne received strong scoring support from multiple players. Trey Jackson finished with 14 points, knocking down seven of his nine free throw attempts in an efficient outing. Ben Phillip posted a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, providing a steady presence inside. Jackson Tomlin added 11 points, connecting on three three-pointers, while Jordan McClendon and Avant Coleman chipped in 10 points apiece to give the Jackets six players in double figures.

Offensively, Howard Payne shot nearly 47 percent from the field and maintained its rhythm for much of the game, answering runs and continuing to apply pressure on the scoreboard. The Jackets' scoring balance and ability to generate points in a variety of ways stood out, particularly in a fast-paced road environment.

Although the final result did not go Howard Payne's way, the performance featured several positives to build on moving forward. With a high-scoring output and a career night from Ramey leading the way, the Yellow Jackets will look to carry that offensive momentum into their next game.
