2014- Shay Pate started all 16 matches for the Yellow Jackets scoring three goals. He was second on the team in total shots with 37 and had 12 shots on goal for the year. He was named First Team All-ASC as a forward.

2013- Pate started 17 of 17 games for the Jackets this season. He played a season total of 1399 minutes. Pate took 40 shots, 25 shots on goal and led the team with seven goals. He was a Third Team All- Conference selection.

2012: Shay made Third Team All-Conference as a forward. He played in 17 games and started 13 of them he played a total of 1,021 minutes scored four goals which included two game winners, came on just nine shots on goal. Shays also lead the team in points with nine points and one assists on the year.

HS: Shay is a 2012 graduate of Red Oak High School in Red Oak, Texas where he lettered all 4 years in soccer.  As a member of the Hawk soccer team, he earned the honors of Newcomer of the Year, 2nd Team All-District, District Offensive MVP, 2nd Team All-Region and District MVP.

Personal: Shay is a Psychology major and Social Work minor.  He is the youngest son of Cindy and Gary Pate and has 7 siblings. He has 2 older brothers, a younger sister and 4 older sisters.
