Biography

2015: Derek saw action in four of Howard Payne's 15 games and was recognized by the ASC as an All-Academic honor roll recipient.

2014- Saw action in one match for Howard Payne. Was named Academic All-Conference for his work in the classroom.

2013- Anderson started 2 of 9 games for the Jackets this season. He recorded a total of 321 minutes played for the Jackets.

HS: Derek is a 2013 STEM Academy graduate of Robert Shoemaker High School in Killeen, Texas where he was named a Texas Scholar. While attending Shoemaker, he was a member of the Grey Wolves soccer team.  In addition to playing for Shoemaker, he also played club soccer helping his team to place 2nd finish in the D-1 Tournament. 

Personal: Derek is from Harker Heights, Texas.  He is the son of Jeffrey and Iris Anderson and has one younger brother.
