2009- In her 116 plate appearances, Ashley hit .310 with two homeruns and 34 runs batted in. She was named ASC Honorable Mention All-West Division at first base as well as Academic All-Conference.

2008- With the third highest batting average of .344, Ashley as a freshmen started in all 43 games for the Lady Jackets. She led the team with 41 runs batted in and 8 homeruns, giving her a slugging percentage of .602. Playing first base, Silva had 242 put outs while only recording three errors. She was named Hitter of the Week and was named All-West Division Honorable Mention. 

HS- She is a 2007 graduate of Angleton High School where she lettered four years in both softball and three in volleyball. She was named New Comer of the Year and Offensive and Defensive player of the year in softball. She was also name to the All-County team in softball and volleyball. Along with athletic awards Ashley was also Academic All-State in both sports. 

Personal- Ashley is majoring in Spanish Education with a minor in Exercise and Sports Science/Coaching. After graduation Ashley plans to pursue a career as a Spanish teacher and a high school coach. She is the daughter of P.J. and Edgar Silva and has one younger brother.
