2015: Schulte was second on the team in assists with 231 while also tallying 42 digs, 29 kills and ten blocks while playing in 23 of Howard Payne's 25 matches. Was recognized by the ASC as an All-Academic honor roll recipient.

2014: Katie played in 17 of 25 matches for Howard Payne 113 assists, 39 digs and nine kills for the Lady Jackets.

College: At Temple College, she helped led them to a 19-15 overall and 10-2 conference record in 2013. Katie was also on the Dean’s List.

HS: Katie is a 2013 graduate of Harker Heights High School, she was a two year varsity starter in volleyball and three year varsity golfer. Katie was the team captain her senior year where she helped lead the volleyball team to their first playoff berth in six years. She was voted Regional Setter of the Year by the Killeen Daily Herald, named 1st team All-District setter and awarded MVP at the Pure Energy Classic. She also was a member of her high school’s varsity choir and gold medaled in her regional art competition. 

Personal: Katie is the daughter of Mike Schulte and Terri Haygood, from Harker Heights, Texas. She is majoring in Sports and Health Science.
