Biography

2018: Scored one goal at Louisiana College and one at Hardin-Simmons. She started in two of  seven matches played in for HPU. Was named Academic All-Conference.

2017: Cortez played in 11 of the 15 Yellow Jacket games, racking up at total of 208 minuets played this season. 

2015: Did not see time on the pitch for Howard Payne.

HS: A 2015 graduate of North Forney High School in Forney, Texas. Brittany played four years of varsity soccer, helping to lead her squad to two Bi-District soccer championships. Finished in the top 15% of her senior class and was a four year A/B Honor Roll recipient.

Personal: Cortez has one sister and is the daughter of Bryan and Christi Cortez. She plans on being an athletic trainer and is majoring in athletic training. Brittany is a member of the National Honor Society, the Chi Alpha Omega sorority and is also a Yellow Jacket Scholar.
