Cory Beckham has 27 years of coaching experience, twenty-three as head Coach at Connally, West, Lake Belton, China Spring high schools. Coach Beckham has guided his teams to four state tournament appearances and three state titles. With 527 career wins before the 2024 season, he is one of the best high school baseball coaches in the State of Texas.

As a player at HPU, he was a part of the 1994 TIAA Championship team and was an All-TIAA third baseman in 1995. A four-year letterwinner at China Spring High School, he was a part of a State Championship team in 1989.
