Summary

Biography

2012-13- Young saw action in a total of 22 games for the Jackets scoring a season high of nine points against Sul Ross State along with three rebounds. Young was named Academic All-Conference and to the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team.

2011-12- Jorden played in eight game as a freshman for the Jackets. He saw 14 minutes of action on the year.

HS: Jorden is a 2011 graduate of Ponder High School in Ponder, Texas where he help led the Lions to 3 Class 2-A State Championship titles. While playing for the Lions, he lettered in Basketball and Cross Country and earned  All-District, All-Region, and All-State honors. In addition to his involvement in Athletics, he was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Jorden is the youngest son of Steven and Katrina Young of Ponder, Texas. He has four older siblings, two older sisters and two older brothers. He is a Math major, minoring in Athletic Training who has the ambitions of becoming a basketball coach or an athletic trainer.
