2018-2019: While starting 24 of 24 games for HPU. Shadd led the Jackets in scoring at 15.9 ppg. He also grabbed 6.3 rpg. He scored a career high 33 points versus Concordia and grabbed a career high 16 rebounds versus Texas-Tyler. He was a HM All-West Division selection and an Academic All-Conference selection. 

2017-2018: Started in 25 of 26 games played in for HPU averaging 7.6 ppg and 4.5 rpg. He had a season high 17 points versus LeTourneau. He was named Academic All-Conference.

2016-2017: Started in 7 of 24 games played in for the Jackets averaging 5.6 ppg and 3.2 rpg. He scored a season high 13 points versus Ozarks (AR) and grabbed a season high 10 rebounds versus LeTourneau. He was named Academic All-Conference.

2015-2016: Played in each of Howard Payne's 25 games, averaging 10.9 minutes a game. He scored 75 points on the year while shooting .538 from the field. He had a career high 15 points and 10 rebounds in a January contest vs. Concordia.

High School: He is a 2015 graduate of Faith Christian School in Stephenville, Texas. There he led them to three state tournament semi-finals and was the State runner up in 2014. Along the way he earned two first team All-State selections and two T-CAL male athlete of the year awards.

Personal: He is the son of Rod and Stacey Cole and has six siblings. He is majoring in Exercise and Sport Science.
