Biography

2021: Appearing in three matches for the Yellow Jackets, Andrew made 12 saves and recorded one win. He also received ASC Academic All-Conference.

2020-21: Appearing in three matches for the Yellow Jackets, Andrew recorded 22 saves in 225 minutes of action.

2019: Started in 12 of 14 matches played for the Yellow Jackets totaling 1132 minutes. Recorded 82 saves with a season high of 11 saves against East Texas Baptist University (Marshall).

2018: Started 11 matches in goal for the Yellow Jackets recording 49 saves.Had shutout victories versus Louisiana College and Sul Ross State. He was named Honorable Mention All-Conference.

2017: Played in 7 of the 14 Yellow Jacket soccer games this 2017 season. With a total of 29 saves and a season high being 10 saves in the game against UT Tyler. 

HS: A 2017 graduate of Trinity high school in Euless, Texas. Where he played one year of varsity football and two years of varsity soccer, receiving 2nd Team All-District his senior year.

Personal: Hackney is the son of Dianne and Mark Hackney and has three siblings. He is majoring in Biochemistry with plans to pursue Physical Therapy.
