Aaron Siekmann

Aaron Siekmann came to Howard Payne in the summer of 2025 after spending four years at Concordia University Wisconsin.

As the Director of Human Performance at Concordia University Wisconsin, Aaron oversaw the strength and conditioning programs for all 32 athletic teams, managing staff, coordinating with sport coaches, and leading facility operations to ensure peak athlete development.

Before Concordia Wisconsin, Siekmann served as the Director of Athletic Performance at Black Hills State University, where he worked from October 2015 until the summer of 2020.

A Black Hills State University, he developed and implemented comprehensive training programs for 10 NCAA Division II teams, fostering a high-performance culture built on discipline, teamwork, and mental resilience. He also gained experience through a virtual football performance internship with Florida Atlantic University, contributing to individualized mobility and agility programming.

Siekmann is an alumnus of Concordia Wisconsin, where he earned his degree in Educational Studies with a minor in Health and Coaching. As a student-athlete, he was a three-year letterwinner at wide receiver for the football team and earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Player of the Week honors twice during his career.

Following graduation, he continued his playing career with the Washington County Untouchables, a semi-professional team, during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.

He later earned a Master's degree in Applied Exercise Science from Concordia University Chicago in 2019

His professional credentials include CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), USAW (USA Weightlifting), FRCms (Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist), and ISSA Sports Nutritionist, alongside certifications in First Aid/CPR/AED.

He and his wife, Tara, have two children, Taron and Landon.
