A native of Knoxville, TN, Anthony Buzzeo joined the HPU coaching staff in the summer of 2020 after graduating in May 2020 from Covenant College. There he played four years for the Scots and majored in Sports Administration. Additionally, he went on to play in the NPSL for the Knoxville Force.

Anthony brings with him a great track record of success as a player, winning two state championships in high school and finishing his senior season ranked 4th in the country.

In college, he went on to claim the regular season conference title at Covenant in 2019 with a perfect 13-0 mark in the USA South. 

Anthony’s favorite verses are Psalm 73:26 and Romans 1:16. He has one sister and his parents are Renato and Carolyn Buzzeo.
