2017:  Second Team All-Conference
Lemus led the Jackets with eight goals on the year good for second overall in the ASC. In 1,127 minutes played, Lemus also had two assists with his four game winning goals on the year. He was third in points and goals per game in the ASC and second in points per game. 

2016: Played in started in all 15 matches for the Jackets scoring one goal on 13 shots taken. In his 1260 minutes logged he had five shots on goal with one finding the net at LeTourneau. For his work in the classroom, he was named Academic All-Conference.

2015: Daniel tallied 13 shots, 8 shots on goal and had a game winning goal against Louisiana College for Howard Payne. Started in 11 games, suited up for 14 games and was named to the ASC All-Academic honor roll.

2014: Played in all 16 matches for Howard Payne and recorded a start versus Wayland Baptist. He scored his first college goal versus East Texas Baptist.

HS: Lemus attended Salado High School in Salado, Texas. He lettered three years in soccer and was an All-District and All-Area selection. He was also the Area Co-Midfield MVP.

Personal- He is the son of Ruben and Dianne Lemus, he has two siblings. Lemus is majoring in Physical Therapy.
