2018: Started in 12 of 13 matches played in for the Jackets. Scored six goals for the Jackets on 31 total shots, 14 on goal. Logging over 1,150 minutes of play on the year. he was named Third Team All-Conference.

2017: Honorable Mention All-Conference. Starting in 12 of 14 matches played in for HPU, Westerman saw 1,053 minutes on the field with three goals and two assists for HPU.

2015: Michael saw 728 minutes of playing time and started in six of the 14 games he played for Howard Payne. He had 14 shots and three shots on goal and was part of an aggressive attack that led to a 1-0 conference victory over ETBU.

2013: (McMurry) For the Warhawks, he started in 9 of 13 games played in scoring one goal. Did not play in the 2014 season.
