Brandon Hettick joined the Howard Payne staff in January of 2019. Coach Hettick came to HPU from Lake View high school in San Angelo, Texas where in 2018 he led the program to its first ever team tennis district championship.

Hettick spent the 2015-2016 season at Plains ISD where along with tennis served as an assistant for volleyball, golf and basketball.

Hettick has also served as a tennis camp coach at the Texas A&M University Aggie Tennis Camps and San Angelo, Texas area camps for several summers.

Hettick is a 2015 graduate of Lubbock Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. He and his wife Jessica have been married since 2016.
