2022-23: Playing with multiple partners and appearing in the number two spot, Villarreal finished with a record of 1-12 in doubles.

2020-22: Was not with the HPU tennis program

2019-2020: In a shortened season, playing the number six spot for the Jackets, with appearances as the number four and five, Jonathan went 2-9 in singles. He would also partner with Gabe Benitez and Ben Blanchard as the number one, with appearances as the number two, where they went 1-9 in doubles action.

HS: A 2019 graduate from Pasadena Memorial High School in Pasadena, Texas, where he played varsity tennis for four years. In high school, he advanced to Regionals his junior year and finished 3rd at District his senior year. He was also included in choir.

Personal: The son of Elia Villarreal, has two siblings and is majoring in Nursing.
