2019: Audrey Simpson led the Lady Jackets in the circle with an 8-4 overall record and a 3.80 ERA. In 66.1 innings pitched, she struck out 27.  She had a season high five strikeouts versus Jarvis Christian early in the year and was named ASC Pitcher of the Week in late March. She was also named Academic All-Conference and to the ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team.

2018: Started in 36 of 37 games played in for the Lady Jackets...Recorded 19 hits on 82 at bats with seven RBIs...Had a season high three hits in a game versus Hardin-Simmons...Had a 4-5 record pitching for HPU striking out 18 batters in 58.0 innings...Was an Academic All-Conference selection.

2017: Started in all 36 games played in for Howard Payne...Recorded 28 hits on 103 at bats with 13 RBIs...Finished the season with four doubles, two triples and two homeruns...Had a season high three hits in a game twice....In 68.2 innings pitched for HPU recorded 27 strikeouts in 12 starts and 23 appearances overall...Was an Academic All-Conference selection.

College: Simpson was an All-Region pitcher at Murray State College and a Spring 2016 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete award winner before transferring to Howard Payne for her sophomore season.

High School: Graduated in the top ten of her class at Cuero High School in 2015. Audrey participated in cheerleading and was a two year letter athlete in softball. She pitched a no-hitter her senior season and picked up first team All-District, second team All-Area honors throughout her high school career.

Personal: Simpson is a member of Phi Beta Lambda and FCA. She won the presidential award for academics as a freshmen and is a high honors student. She is the daughter of John and Rosalie Simpson and she has two siblings.
