2023-24: Ben Phillip started in 9 games and played in 15 for the Yellow Jackets last season. He averaged 8.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. He knocked down 28 three-pointers at a 38.9% clip while shooting 43.7% from the field. His breakout game was against Sul Ross State where he hit 9 three-pointers (HPU record) and scored a career-high 27 points in the 84-83 victory. 

Previous School: Ben previously attended Nebraska Wesleyan University where he played one season and appeared in 16 games. He totaled 26 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists.

HS: Ben played basketball at Boerne High School located in Boerne, Texas where he was named District MVP, All-Region, All-State, and All-Area. Phillip also holds the record for three pointers made at Boerne High School and helped lead his team to back-to-back district championships.

Personal: Ben is the son of Kerry and David Phillip and has one sibling. He plans to major in Kinesiology.
