Tabitha Fernandez joined the Howard Payne softball staff in January of 2024 after graduating from Jarvis Christian University with a Bachelor's degree in the Science of Criminal Justice.
During her academic journey, she excelled not only in the classroom but also on the softball field. She played four years of collegiate softball under the guidance of head coach Ty Robinson, where she honed her skills, embraced teamwork, and fostered a deep love for the sport.
She has actively contributed to the softball community by volunteering her time in youth softball camps, imparting her knowledge and passion for the game to the next generation of players. Additionally, she has been involved in the East Brownsville Park Little League, where she dedicated her efforts to support and enhance the baseball and softball experience for young athletes.
Further showcasing her commitment to the sport, she has also worked professionally in training for both softball and baseball. This experience allowed her to share her expertise, contribute to skill development, and inspire athletes to reach their full potential.
