2014: Shandi started in all 37 games for the Lady Jackets recording 20 hits in 89 at bats. She drove in eight runs with two doubles and a homerun. She also had four sacrifice hits. She was named Academic All-Conference.

2013: She started all 42 games for the Lady Jackets recording 26 hits on 112 at bats. She had seven doubles and two homeruns on the year. For her efforts in the classroom, she was named Academic All-Conference.

2012: Shandi started all 40 games for Howard Payne. She was second on the team in pct at .304 and third in hits with 35. She had six doubles, a triple and two homeruns on the year. She also recorded 16 runs batted in and scored 21 times. 

HS: Shandi is a 2011 graduate of Early High School where she graduated as an Honor Student and Presidential Award recipient.  While playing for the Lady Longhorns, she helped lead her team to the State 2A play-offs and District Champions from 2008-2011. She lettered 4 years in softball, 2 years in basketball, and a year in track. She also earned various honors.  Her honors included Academic All-State in Softball and Basketball, 3-time All-District, Co-Defensive MVP, and 2-time MVP (2008 and 2011). 

Personal: Shandi Winstead is a Communication major, minoring in Health Science and Psychology, from Brownwood, Texas.  She is the oldest daughter of Brad and Marla Winstead and has two younger sisters.  She plans to attend graduate school and become a speech pathologist after graduation.
