2016: Pitched in 44 innings while starting in 13 of Howard Payne's 38 games. Walked just seven batters and struck out 12 to collect a 2-4 record on the season. Rushing matched a season-high three strikeouts during a 10-2 victory at Sul Ross State while also collecting a season-best 2.33 ERA.She was also recognized as a winter/spring All-Academic Honor Roll selection from the ASC.

2015: Tallied five wins while seeing pitching time in 24 games for the Lady Jackets. Tayler pitched five innings of shutout softball during a vs. Sul Ross State University amd finished the season with 15 hits from behind the plate.

2014: Finished with a .226 batting average and a .323 slugging percentage while starting in 34 of Howard Payne's 35 games. Led the team with 12 RBI's during 101 plate appearances. Rushing also led the team in innings pitched with 133.1 while striking out 48 batters while seeing pitching time in 29 games.

HS: Tayler is a 2013 graduate of James Bowie HS in Arlington, Texas, lettering all four years in softball. As a member of the Lady Volunteers, she earned the honors of 1st Team All-District and 2nd Team All-District as a Pitcher, 2nd Team All-District as a 3rd Baseman, Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year and Utility Player of the Year.  Academically, she was on the A/B Honor Roll. In addition to softball, she was president of the BHS Fellowship of Christian Athlete. 

Personal: Tayler is from Arlington, Texas.  She is the daughter of Mike and Stacy Rushing and has a younger brother.  She is an Kinesiology major and has the ambition of operating a faith based training academy in the future.
