McKenzie Clarke, a graduate from King University with a degree in Exercise Science, joined the Howard Payne staff in the summer of 2020 after a successful career on the King women’s soccer team, serving as captain for three seasons.
Previously, McKenzie worked as a Sports Performance/Sports Science intern at the Orlando Pride, a women’s professional team in the NWSL. At the Pride, she assisted with all aspects of the strength and conditioning program as well as monitoring the wellness and load of elite level athletes, many of whom play on the USWNT. Prior to the Pride, McKenzie also worked as a Strength and Conditioning intern at Purdue University working with women’s soccer, men’s wrestling, and women’s swimming.
She is currently working toward her M Ed. In Sport and Wellness Leadership at Howard Payne.
