Biography

2021: Appearing in 25 games for the Lady Jackets, Alyssa recorded 13 hits, nine runs, four doubles, and 10 RBI. She had 43 putouts and seven assists.

Previous College: Alyssa attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kansas, where she played two seasons of softball and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes before transferring to Howard Payne.

HS: Alyssa was a four-year letter in softball at J. F Dobie High School in Houston, Texas, where her team made playoffs three times.  A first-base honorable mention, Alyssa was also a member of varsity choir and a National Honor Society member.

Personal: Alyssa is the daughter of Albert and Zina Corpus and has three siblings.  She is pursuing a degree in nursing and she hopes to first become a pediatric nurse and then a nurse practitioner.
