2022: A CSC Academic All-District selection, Kaitlyn appeared in 22 matches for the Lady Jackets. She finished second on the team in assists with 277 recording a career-high 50 in a victory against LeTourneau. Elsten recorded 22 kills and 118 digs as well.

2021: As the only Lady Jacket to appear in all 25 matches, Kaitlyn was second on the team in assists with 286. She recorded a season-high 25 assists versus Randall University. In addition, she had 11 total kills and 98 digs on the season. Kaitlyn was named ASC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete Team also and received ASC Academic All-Conference. 

2020-2021: Appearing in all 22 matches for the Lady Jackets, she was second on the team in assists with 175. She recorded a season-high 16 digs versus Sul Ross State and a season-high eight digs versus Mary Hardin-Baylor. Kaitlyn has also excelled in the classroom, receiving academic all-conference.

2019: Appearing in 25 matches for the Lady Jackets, she recorded a season high 22 assists and nine digs versus Louisiana College.

HS: Kaitlyn was a four-year letter in Volleyball while attending Heritage Christian School in Rockwall, Texas.

Personal: She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Joel and Holly Elsten and has one sibling. She is majoring in allied health science.
