Biography

2022: Appearing in eight matches for the Lady Jackets, Lawson recorded one kill and two assists. She also had one block for the season.

2021: Appearing in 15 matches, Paighton had 27 kills and three blocks. In, addition she had three service aces and three assists. She recorded a season-high six kills versus LeTourneau. Paighton received ASC Academic All-Conference.

HS: Paighton played two years of varsity volleyball at Abilene High School in Abilene, Texas. She was named All-District Honorable Mention and received Academic All-District accolades.

Personal: Paighton is the daughter of Chasity and John Lawson and has one sibling. She is an education major and aspires to be a high school coach and teacher.
