BROWNWOOD, TX…The nationally ranked Bulldogs of Texas Lutheran blasted Yellow Jacket pitching for 20 hits and 18 runs in their 18-4 route of Howard Payne Friday afternoon at Don Shepard Park. Tye Moore (Justin, TX/Frank Phillips JC) provided HPU with some offense with his solo home run in the bottom of the third inning.

Colby Rowley (Clyde, TX/CHS) started on the mound for the Yellow Jackets. He allowed eight hits and 11 runs in four innings of work. The Jackets' bullpen would fair the same, giving up 10 runs in the final five innings.

Moore finished the day 2-for-4 with two RBIs and on run scored. Cole Ramsey (Academy, TX/Wayland Bap) went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Lee Morrison (San Angelo, TX/Lake View HS) drew three walks and added a double.

TLU's Aaron Crias finished the day 3-for-5 with three home runs and eight RBIs.

Both team will lock up tomorrow for a double header to finish out their three game ASC-West series.
