BROWNWOOD, Texas - The Lady Jackets drop their first home match of the season, 1-3 (28-30,23-30,30-26,20-30), to the Mountaineers of Schreiner University on Tuesday night in the Brownwood Coliseum.

HPU's Destiny Barry (Burnet) had a huge offensive match with 18 kills and a .441 hitting pct. She also played strong at the net with 6 blocks (5 solo).

After dropping the first two games of the match 28-30 and 23-30, the Lady Jackets rallied to take game three 30-26.

The fourth game remained close early, but Schreiner was able to pull away led by the hitting of Tiffany Miller.

Howard Payne falls to 6-12 on the season and 3-7 in ASC play. Schreiner improves to 6-12 and 6-6 in the ASC.

The Lady Jackets will play on Wednesday at Concordia-Austin, game time will be 7:00pm.
