HPU Sr. MB Destiny Barry (Burnet) led the team with 21 kills and a .340 hitting pct. So. Setter Patricia Brown (Tomball) had 50 assists in the five game match.

The Lady Jackets took games one and two 30-28, 30-26 before dropping the next two. HPU then won game five 15-7.

Howard Payne is 3-1 in five game matches this season.

HPU improves to 8-13 overall, and 5-8 in the ASC, while McM drops to 4-20 overall and 2-11in ASC play.

The Lady Jacket will play at the second ASC Crossover this weekend; their first match will be against Mississippi College.
